This weekend the 2008 HK Dragon Boat races took place. It is essentially a rowing competition originating in China over 2500 years ago. There are various theories on its origin but it today it is a cause for good times, hooliganism, and general stupid-a-tude! Generally, companies/individuals rent boats which are anchored in a U shape around the racing area. Revelers grab some refreshment, sun bath and occasionally cheer for their team (if they have any idea at all who is racing)!
We spent a few hours taking in the scene and enjoying the sun. Here are some of the highlights!

A Little Bit of Class
And to end the day . . . a Chinese clown making balloon animals!
